BIG BANG RADIO TO PERFORM AT SIGNAL TO SPACE!

Big Bang Radio has been invited to be a part of the upcoming SIGNAL TO SPACE CONCERT scheduled to take place in late 2008 / early 2009. More details will be provided soon. In the meantime, please read the article below for a sneak peak to see why BBR is so excited to be a part of something so revolutionary!!!

McCartney, Bowie for alien contact concert:

Sir Paul McCartney, David Bowie and Michael Jackson are set to make contact with aliens, claims author Michael C Luckman. The acts, along with Sir Elton John and The Rolling Stones, have been lined up to headline a series of concerts aimed at establishing peaceful contact with aliens by beaming music into outer space. Luckman, author of Alien Rock: The Rock 'n' Roll Extraterrestrial Connection, plans to hold his 'Signals to Space Concerts' in Berlin, Tokyo, New York, China, Russia, Mexico and London, and hopes extraterrestrials will respond to the shows. He told BANG Showbiz: "The aim of the concerts is to beam live music into outer space, particularly to targets in our solar systems, including Mars and the moon, to try and establish peaceful contact with extraterrestrial civilisations. Each show will be as large as Woodstock."

He added: "Some of the possible headliners are Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and Michael Jackson. "Pete Bennett, the legendary promotion manager for the Beatles is also going to be involved in the project. "He is a friend and supporter of both my book and the 'Signal to Space Concerts' and feels, as I do, that space is music's final frontier."

BIG BANG RADIO, SOUTH FLORIDA ROCK BAND WITH SUPERIOR POP TALENT - Miami New Times: Jonathon Cunningham

Every few years, South Florida seems to cough up a rock band with superior pop talent that's capable of becoming the next big thing. Although some rock fans might argue about what band currently occupies this spot, it's undeniable that Big Bang Radio has all the makings of a local-meets-global pop-rock sensation. It's got the hearthrobability of a group like Maroon 5 and the intricate songwriting skills of Ryan Adams and the Cardinals. The group's already had its share of big accomplishments, including playing the past two Bang Music Festivals in Miami and opening for acts like Duran Duran, Ashlee Simpson (don't laugh), and the Strokes. For an upstart band, at least two of those opening gigs were impressive, and it's all helped get the name out there as a band to watch. The group has a new, ten-song digital release that's dropping this week.
